Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced health insurance administrator, preferably with 5+ years of a health insurance background to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
-Customer service including answering incoming phone calls
-Process and review employee benefits documentation and ensure all documents are complete
-General administrative assistance such as billing issues, address changes, etc.
-Quoting all lines of employee benefits for existing and new accounts
-Preparing professional, accurate proposals for producer presentation
-Help with ongoing customer enrollments and terminations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Strong communication skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and carriers
-Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, must prioritize and multi-task
-Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications
-5+ years experience
-Strong computer skills, particularly on Microsoft Excel
-Prior experience working in an administrative or customer service role, health insurance experience is preferred
-Complete tasks timely and accurately, being organized and detail-oriented
