Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant, preferably with a health insurance background to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
• Customer service including answering incoming phone calls
• Process and review employee benefits documentation and ensure all documents are complete
• General administrative assistance such as billing issues, address changes, etc.
• Quoting all lines of employee benefits for existing and new accounts
• Preparing professional, accurate proposals for producer presentation
• Help with ongoing customer enrollments and terminations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong communication skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and carriers
• Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, must prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications
• Strong computer skills, particularly on Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience working in an administrative or customer service role, health insurance experience is preferred
• Complete tasks timely and accurately, being organized and detail-oriented
