Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm occasional nights/weekends
Classification: Full time; exempt

Summary
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for agency marketing, communications and public relations activities. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to build understanding and support for the mission of the Crisis Center and enhance the reputation of the organization and its resale stores. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator manages resources and oversees initiatives that raise awareness of the resale stores and the Crisis Center programs. Key areas of responsibility include center publications, social media, public relations, advertising and brand identity. The position demands the full range of communication skills, both creative and technical: impactful copy-writing and effective messaging, graphic design, photography and experience in using electronic media and social media platforms to support institutional goals. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will uphold the Mission & Values of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.
Job Requirements:
Education/Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, public relations or
Communications
Complete 40-hr training
Experience
3 to 5 years of job-related experience
5+ years of job-related experience
Strong project management and personal workflow
skills
