Performs tasks in maintaining and cleaning areas of the hospital. Performs repetitive tasks in maintaining and cleaning an assigned area of the hospital. Assures the sanitation and appearance of their areas of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Spot cleans and shampoos carpeted areas
Performs hard floor cleaning maintenance such as buffing and / or stripping / refinishing
Moves furniture for set up and take down of meetings
Performs numerous housekeeping duties as assigned
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
Education and Training:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
