Job Description:
Review Insurance EOBs for accuracy. Knowledge of contract reimbursement preferable. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player. Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to type. Previous telephone customer service experience required. Meditech and Cerner systems experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task & perform effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced & high volume environment. Needs to have a good understanding of medical insurance. Minimum of 1 year previous hospital or medical office medical insurance experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
