POSITION GUIDE: Non – Certified Personnel

FUNCTION: Performs confidential secretarial and clerical responsibilities necessary for an efficient and effective Human Resources office that assists the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Human Resources. Acts as District contact for COVID-19 inquiries, including receiving and tracking all notifications and instances of positive COVID-19 cases, possible exposure to COVID-19 and travel to COVID-19 hotspots; works independently in interacting with district staff; gives information and addresses questions relating to the district’s COVID-19 policy; able to determine COVID-19 related leave and district disability, refers callers to appropriate personnel, or if necessary, arranges for an appointment with the Assistant Superintendent and/or Director of Human Resources.

Job Requirements:


1. Bachelor’s degree Preferred/Equivalent with three (3) years related experience.

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy of information, including the ability to organize large amounts of data.

3. Strong technical foundation in database structure, configuration, installation, integration, and practice.

4. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

5. Knowledge and experience with XML & JAVA programming.

6. Fluent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic Mail, Databases and Spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat Professional).

7. Previous Informational Technology/Database/Student Information System experience preferred.

8. Good human relations and strong customer service orientation Computer/Word Processing experience required.

9. Can demonstrate advanced skills in Windows and file management.

10. Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, and Excel.

11. Internet and desktop publishing skills.

12. Advanced skills in typing, formatting proofreading, editing, and text composition.
