Job Description:

Summary: The Concessions Cash Room Lead is responsible for ensuring the accurate distribution and collection of currency for events and daily concessions operations. Cash room lead follows the direction of the CFO. Cash room lead is a part-time, event-based position. Hours for this position will vary depending on the Slammers game schedule, but will consist of mostly nights and weekends May 13- September 4.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including but not limited to):
Prepare bank allotments by counting currency, verifying, and balancing the cash vault
Issue bank funds to individual cashiers and receive funds back from cashiers
Receive and deposit bank drops from cashiers and logging deposits on the bank drop log
Processing cashier deposits into the electronic safe
Provide review of cashier paperwork to verify that sales reports are complete and that all deposits and returned bank funds are accounted for
Conduct daily audit of assigned vault funds
Ensure that cashier reports are organized uniformly for next day review by CFO
Review cashier reports at close-out with individual cashiers to clarify exceptions to transactions
Prepare change fund deposits as needed
Ensure that work area is secure, neat and orderly at all times
Preparing daily event information sheet

Job Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check
Prior experience with high volume cash handling
Ability to work with Google Sheets
Experience using an adding machine
Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills required
Prior experience with money counting machines required
Attention to details is required
Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations.

Intellectual/Social demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to multi-task under time limits and with moderate to high pressure situations. Position requires constant attention to details and accuracy of specified standards including verifying financial data. This position requires employee to frequently work both independently or as part of a team. Position also requires being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, by being able to openly communicate with others.


Hourly on nights of games 2-3 hours at a time, typical hours are 7pm-10pm
