Job Description:

Come join our expanding Production department! We are looking for a Digital Production Associate who will assist the digital production team to facilitate the development of G-W’s digital products. This individual will be responsible for creating and reviewing digital assets, assessments, eBooks, and course content; providing detailed quality assurance testing; and project management of assigned work. The ideal candidate is organized, is excited about digital media and publishing, exudes a passion for learning and problem solving, and collaborates well as part of a team. They will also demonstrate a desire to continually improve their technical skills.

What you’ll do:
• Use authoring applications and HTML templates to create and edit course components for online instruction.
• Use assessment applications to format questions and build question bank files.
• Use Adobe Acrobat Professional to create hyperlinks and optimize PDF files.
• Work with the team on creating and testing new products.
• Review electronic files for conformance to accessibility and technical standards.
• Assist with loading content into LMSs such as Canvas, D2L, and others.
• Assist with quality assurance and quality control testing of platforms, features, and course content.
• Assist with reviewing/updating documentation and processes.
• Maintain schedule, deadlines, and status communication on assigned digital projects.
• Accurately estimate, plan, and communicate with team members on project progress to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Collaborate as a member of a cross-functional project team.

Job Requirements:

What you’ll bring:
• Bachelor’s or associate degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a related field required.
• Experience with HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS 3.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud preferred.
• Experience with online products for education is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of PC operating systems and software on web-based applications.
