Job Description:
Applicant will be working assisting medical physicians and nurses in patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms and drawing blood, along with performing in-house procedures. Candidate will be expected to work in Family, OB, and BH areas of the clinic along with traveling to satellite offices. Schedule, Tuesday-Thursday 10 am-6:00 pm., Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm and Saturday 7:30 am-3:30 pm.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate. One (1) year experience in direct patient care providing clinical support to physician or nurse practitioner in an ambulatory care setting.
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED: CPR Certification and Electronic Medical Records, Next Gen Computer experience. Bilingual in Spanish.
