Job Description:

The Front Desk Agent is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance is paramount.
Duties include: Check guests in/out, ensure required identification is taken from guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location, answer phones in a prompt & courteous manner, accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures, communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management, take action to solve guest problems/complaints, follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures. Routinely book guest reservations, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes. Problem solving, multi tasking and ability to prioritize duties at a moments notice.
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent quality and service!

Job Requirements:

Must be able to effectively utilize a computer or tablet with required hotel software, must have basic math skills; able to accurately count and balance currency, checks, credit card transactions and all adjustments. Must be comfortable resolving guest issues with empathy and ease and be able to communicate effectively with all departments within the hotel.
This is a position that requires multi tasking swiftly and effectively all while maintaining composure in high stress situations.
Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
