Job Description:

EVEN Hotel & Convention Center is looking for a dynamic, talented, client-centric Catering Sales Manager that has a proven track record of success in booking all group business. Responsible for the accurate and detailed reporting of all groups booked and exceeding specified revenue goals. Responsible for the creation of group sales contracts and consistent follow-up calls and correspondence to clients. Responsible for managing events from selling through event completion. Duties include booking, selling, planning and coordinating all special events while assuring the highest level of customer service.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs for extended periods of time/frequently in order to interact with clients and staff both inside and outside of the hotel.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand fluent English
Must have 20/20 vision either with or without corrective lenses
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to move long distances for outside sales calls and for giving facility site tours to prospective clients
Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds, bend & crouch

Must be able to read, write and comprehend written English communication
Must be adept at numerical calculations and utilizing a calculator/adding machine
Must be adept at typing, and proficient in the use of various required software programs
