Job Description:

C.L.Y. Irrigation and Landscaping Inc is seeking to fill five (5) temporary, full-time seasonal positions for April 1, 2022 to November 30, 2022. Duties: Lawn care, mowing and maintenance, tree/plant planting with basic hand tools, such as a shovel. Detaching and seeding. Installing and servicing irrigation systems. Installing mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. No education or experience required. Employees will travel daily from the worksite address of 25401 West 119th Street in Plainfield, IL to client properties through Kane, Kendall, Will and DuPage Counties. $16.89/hr, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-4:00PM. Overtime available at $25.34 per hour. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Paid weekly on Friday. Employer may offer a small interest free loan to an employee to be repaid weekly. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Employer may make additional deductions with the approval and written consent of the employee, such as repayment of the interest-free loan. Housing: Employer will provide contact information for potential rental units to employee. Rent will be paid by employee directly to landlord.

The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.

Special Requirements: Employees will travel daily from the worksite address to client properties through Kane, Kendall, Will and DuPage Counties. They will be transported from the worksite, free of charge, and returned to the worksite at the end of the work day.
