Shift: Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am (Must be available to work OT)

Quality Control Associate will be responsible for quality assurance inspections of product in an organized, sampling method, recording all results accurately and methodically to ensure compliance with organization standard operating procedures.

Promotes and maintains a safe workplace environment.
Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
Inspect, weigh, and measure all products received in the QA area. Validate LogPro system updates as needed.
Validate physical item configurations with item master data in LogPro.
Work with corporate office team to release product.
Document inspection results by entering data into LogPro.
Submit QEN (Quality Exception Notice) when an item fails to meet necessary quality inspection compliance.
Rework product, when requested.
Pull samples and perform further inspection of warehouse stock upon request.
Ensure compliance with area safety procedures.
Communicate effectively within the organization, including all business units and partner with internal supply chain associates.
Maintain clean and organized work area
Provide support/back-up to Inventory Control, including cycle counting, auditing, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma.
Two-year college diploma preferred.
Three years previous QA experience preferred.
Previous warehouse experience preferred with knowledge of sku's and product codes.
Understanding of World Class Quality Management principles and their application with a large consumer product industry
High degree of initiative, accountability, and ability to work with minimal instruction.
Strong Teamwork / Interpersonal skills, and the desire to succeed.
Computer skills: MS Office, LOG PRO, JDE, digital camera.
Good visual acuity.
