The Role

In this unique manufacturing role, you will be assembling and testing fiber cables and cassettes that are critical to our Data Center business. If you like detailed and intricate work with your hands, this might be the job for you! The job consists of performing very detailed work of delicate fiber optic strands that are 1/3 the diameter of a human hair! These strands will be separated into the individual fibers, inserted into connectors, and then polished to ensure 100% transmission of communication signals. These fiber strands will be tested with high tech equipment to ensure proper transmission, are then secured in a cassette housing, and finally sealed to prevent tampering after shipment.

This is a Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm shift.
