Job Description:

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse, including operations, customer service, office operations, and computer maintenance. The Distribution Center Supervisor assist with plans, organizes staffs, and all office and warehouse activities. The selection, training, and motivation of the workforce are key responsibilities. The Distribution Center Manager assists the Regional Director in establishing warehouse performance objectives. The Distribution Center Manager is accountable for achieving company objectives in regard to cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and profit.

OPERATIONS
o Ensure the development and execution of warehouse systems and procedures for operation and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment, and products in a profitable manner. Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, OSHA requirements and Federal Labor law and requirements.
LABOR MANAGEMENT
o Maintain a productive work team. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, administer programs to supervise, counsel, and discipline employees. Utilized an appropriate performance evaluation system. Administer company labor management programs to be able to evaluate employees' performance and drive process continuous improvement.
WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
o Ensure the warehouse information systems are properly deployed. Ability to operate company computer systems/software
CUSTOMER SERVICE
o Maintain key performance indicators and standards for accounts and communicate standards to all personnel. Maintain appropriate contact with all accounts and respond to requests when required. Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews with CS.
BUDGETING
o Support the development and recommendation of an annual operating budget.
EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
o Recommend Procurement of equipment and supplies required to assure efficient operation and meet company goals.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Five years' experience in warehousing and logistics management, as well as general supervisory experience, is required. Skills in planning, staffing, budgeting, organizing, controlling, and communicating are required. The ability to develop effective relationships, provides leadership, and integrates diverse organizations and individuals toward profitability objectives are critical.
