Job Description:

Magid's Tradeshow and Event Coordinator will assist in the execution of tradeshows, customer events, and other customer engagement activities. The ideal candidate for this position will be a “go-getter” who is highly adaptable and works extremely well under pressure. This role requires strong writing skills as you will write tradeshow/event memos, vendor RFPs, and other various communications on a daily basis.

Support Sr. Tradeshow & Event Specialist in the planning and execution of national tradeshows and larger corporate/customer events

Coordinate freight shipping, exhibit service orders, product kits, and display materials

Write tradeshow and event memos for booth staff attending regional tradeshows

Facilitate exhibit/display general maintenance, which may include sourcing replacement displays and parts

Assist with set up/teardown of tradeshow exhibits/displays (remotely) and follow up processes for regional tradeshows

Manage arrangements for small hospitality events (i.e. site selection, catering, room setup, AV)

Assist with coordination of tradeshow and event performance reports

Communicate regularly with internal departments, event organizers, and contractors

Complete administrative tasks as assigned (i.e. update database files and various planning documents and checklists, submit invoices/expenses to Accounts Payable, order display supplies)

Maintain hotel rooming lists

Manage event registration for corporate and customer events

Ensure promotional samples and prizes are sent to qualified tradeshow/event attendees

Coordinate items to be included in event bags/customer gift packs, etc.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Hospitality, Project Management) or equivalent work experience

Works extremely well in fast-paced environment

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Strong business writing skills

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
