Job Description:

Essential Functions
Include the following:
Provide technical support to users via telephone, internet, email, onsite visit or
Resolves hardware and software problems expeditiously and with minimum
disruption to computer system users and coordinates hardware repairs with vendors,
when appropriate.
Installs personal computer related hardware and software according to schedule,
scope of objectives, and standards.
Installs/configures new equipment.
Maintains desktop, terminal, and printer hardware & software documentation.
Provide weekly status report regarding projects in progress.
Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair computer systems,
applications, and peripheral equipment for various customers.
Keep up to date on the latest security threats and assist in patching.
Maintain helpdesk database and receive and order materials as requested

Job Requirements:

Working Knowledge of Network Connectivity to PC troubleshooting is needed.
Considerable knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and Microsoft Cloud Computing (to include remote assistance).
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office 2019 and Microsoft 365 (Primarily Outlook and PST files).
Considerable knowledge of Google Work (email, docs, calendar, sheets, draw, etc.).
Ability to support remote users at their home office, hotel, or customer site utilizing remote tools and ability to guide the user through troubleshooting over phone working with VPN and remote access support issues.
Considerable knowledge of small business and enterprise office networks utilizing Cable and Comcast Modem Routers and ability to troubleshoot laptop and desktop hardware is also needed.
Strong ability to determine whether an incident’s root cause is the result of
hardware or software failure and to troubleshoot laptop and desktop issues as
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to write reports and routine business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Considerable knowledge of PC operations and software (Word processing and
spreadsheet) are required. Good typing skills are also required.
Completion of an Associate’s degree or equivalent courses from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer information systems, computer science-related area of study.
Completion of Industry related certification such as CompTia’s A+ and Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional.
