Job Description:

What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, editorial, and digital media staff to deliver brand consistent marketing communications and activities that will profitably grow revenue and market share.
• Manage all aspects of marketing for the School product line including: branding, catalogs, brochures, online marketing, marketing communications, analytics, advertising, social media, tradeshows, videos, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
• Create, execute, monitor, and review short and long-term marketing strategies for product line. Help develop and track metrics for product line marketing activities.
• Conduct market research to drive sales and marketing strategies for new and existing products.
• Analyze market research relative to customer wants and expectations, competitor activity, market potential, general economic conditions, and any other relevant factors to meet changing market, technology, and competitive conditions.
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of essential product information working with editorial, digital media and sales departments.
• Help support sales team with tailored collateral and presentations for significant opportunities.
• Be the “go-to” person to develop and execute important presentations for product line.
• Develop and lead event strategies for key market related conferences and trade shows.
• Grow membership in online communities, create valuable community interactions, and develop content that makes community membership meaningful.
• Adhere to budget limitations and constraints; prioritize opportunities to stay within budget.

Job Requirements:

What you’ll bring:
• Bachelor degree. Degree in sales, marketing, or business preferred.
• Minimum five years marketing and/or sales experience with progressive increase in responsibilities required.
• Strong writing and communications skills are necessary.
• Marketing and sales experience in educational publishing preferred.
• Teaching experience is a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
• Must have working knowledge of Contact Management software, such as MailChimp, and social media
