Job Description:

This position is part of the Will County R3 Collaborative Grant that creates a network of legal, mental health, and case management services available to Will County residents through a partnership between eight community agencies and the County. This unique network is focused on restorative justice and healing in the community, with emphasis on communities primarily impacted by socioeconomic and racial disparities in the County.

Roles and Responsibilities:
-Addresses referrals from providers including referrals via warm hand-offs
-Provides therapeutic services to clients and their families
-Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members including external partners
-Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
-Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to clients
-Maintain case load of 15 to 20 clients weekly, at least 5 clients a day
-Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
-Implement various evidence-based treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations
-Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
-Leads group therapy on CBT and DBT a minimum of twice a week

Reporting and Supervision Structure
Report to Executive Director minimum of once a month

Job Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications
-Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution preferred.
-Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
-Hold the following licenses or certifications: LCSW, LCPC, MSW, LPC, MFT, LMFT, LSW, PsyD, or PhD
-Experience with multicultural clients highly preferred
-Stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements
-Thorough understanding of addictive and criminogenic thinking
-3+ years of clinical experience, with experience working in the areas of trauma, substance use and addictive disorders, and criminal justice
-(Preferred) Certified in working with substance use disorders (i.e., CACII, MAC, NCAC, etc.) or willingness to complete necessary certification steps
-Training in specialized trauma modality (i.e., EMDR, DBT, etc.)
-Bilingual a plus but not required
