Summary

Prepares and maintains accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards. Provides management with accurate information in the areas of cost, budgets, payroll, and forecasting in an efficient manner. Applies principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


•Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
•Preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits.
•Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
•Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
•Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Excellent interpersonal/oral and written communication skill
•MS Word and Excel
•Problem solving skills
•U.S. Person required for this position, includes but is not limited to, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents
