Job Description:

Applicant will be working assisting medical physicians and nurses in patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms and drawing blood along with performing in-house procedures. Candidate will be expected to work in Family, OB, and BH areas of the clinic along with traveling to satellite offices. Scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday 10:00 am-6:00pm, and Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate. One (1) year experience in direct patient care providing clinical support to Physician or Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care setting.

REQUIREMENTS: Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance.

DESIRED: CPR Certification and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Next Gen Computer experience.
