Job Description:

If you're looking for the next move in your warehouse career, LeSaint Logistics has a great opportunity for an experienced Equipment Operator -Material Handler- to join our outstanding team!

In this role, you will, prepare and pick orders (both by hand case picking and with a forklift); placing orders into delivery area and onto delivery trucks (both by hand and with a forklift). Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, and stage materials using a forklift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Picking pick orders for shipment according to instructions on bill of lading or pick sheet and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped in an accurate method.
Equipment operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently using safety equipment as required. Charge batteries as needed.  Equipment specified (Electric Pallet Jack/Walkie Rider, Reach Truck and Sit-Down Forklift)
Checking check or count freight for accuracy and/or damages.
Safety, Sanitation, and Security maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.  Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.  Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.  Wear all required PPE.
Order Packing pack orders for shipment in a way that reduces the ability for damage to occur in transit.
Overtime is required depending on business needs.
Miscellaneous Participate in physical inventories and rack construction, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and re-packing as needed, repair pallets if necessary, clean out trailers if necessary and other duties assigned that may be required by management.

Job Requirements:

 QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
Ability to lift a range of 5 lbs. to 50 LBS, cases consistently
Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
