Job Description:

Applicant will be working assisting medical physicians and nurses in patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, esco11ing patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms and drawing blood. Candidate's schedule is Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday's, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidate must be able to work evening hours and travel to other branch offices as needed.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate. One (1) year experience in direct patient care providing clinical support to physicians or nurse practitioners in an ambulatory care setting.

Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License with minimum auto liability insurance.

DESIRED: CPR Certification and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) NextGen computer experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish.
