Job Description:

Perform complex and diversified duties following established procedures in the area of workers' compensation, general liability/property & casualty/professional liability/tort immunity/auto liability/risk management, human resources, and employee benefits. Ensure that compliance with state and federal requirements are maintained, and that County policies and procedures are upheld. Preserve confidentiality of sensitive information. Perform various administrative, operationalized clerical tasks in support of risk management functions within the Human Resources Department.

Job Requirements:

The qualified individual will possess a bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of training, education and experience in human resources and/or risk management and workers' compensation. Possesses the ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of departmental work. PHR certification desirable. Personal computer, spreadsheet and word processing skills required. Ability to organize and compile information into a logical and sequential format. While performing the essential functions of this job the employee may be required to lift and/or move 25 pounds infrequently.
