Job Description:

Position Summary
Ensure that all finished goods product meets customer specifications and requirements by effectively training and leading the work of Quality Auditors as well as compliance with GMP’s and internal SOPs.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
•Represent the Quality department in a positive and consistent manner
•Attend daily production meeting and report any quality related issues
•Thoroughly understand and be able to perform hourly Quality Audits in production lines
•Complete required documentation correctly and accurately
•Be able to train Quality Auditors in their functions and SOP’s
•Log in employees into our systems to capture their working hours
•Proper distribution of workload
•Assign QA rotation for weekends and label printing (As needed)
•Follow, train, and enforce company processes and procedures
•Participate on internal/external audits supporting the Manager/Supervisor
•Responsible for verification of all production records (PTS) cross shift, reporting findings
•Create UPC labels based on CNFG provided by customer
•Print /Coordinate print code date labels/UPCs and distribute for shift as necessary
•Maintain blank Label inventory on weekly basis, verifying weekly cycle counts
•Verify-Release IRC/Tear Pads/JBoards, and maintain related records.
•Perform investigations to determine possible reason for variances
•Document NCPs and Perform root cause analysis for completion
•Send samples back to manufacturing plants upon NCP completion
•Notify Customer of Non-Conforming product through Q3 notifications and similar processes (QT/Mixed pallets, etc.) as well as coordinate its return to 3PL and cost related.
•Approve Work Packets (Verification of customer Specifications)
•Submit Samples to customers as necessary and maintain Sample log
•Submit specific reports to customer (As necessary)
•Submit Pictures/measurements of base and components requested by customer (As necessary)

Job Requirements:

Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Education Desired
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience Required
Three to six months related experience and/or training

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired •Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with individuals associated with subject matter, as well as communicate findings to other quality representatives
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
•Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail orientated tasks
•Must be detail orientated and pay close attention to accuracy
•Ability to apply commonsense understanding and communicate accurately to carry out detailed instructions both oral and written
•Ability to analyze information gathered in order to maintain accurate and detailed records using both computerized and manual means
•Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
•Ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in written, verbal and electronic formats
•Ability to independently or with minimum supervision write routine reports, correspondence and prepare various levels of documents and reports
•Ability to establish and maintain very effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work
•Ability to read and write using the English language
