Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes and evaluates nutrition component of Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Conducts group education, health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC. Performs hemoglobin and lead screenings. Assess needs for health and social services; develops an individual care plan in conjunction with clients; periodic assessments, follow-up and referral activities. Must be flexible to work at satellite clinics and hours as assigned, including evenings, and Saturdays.

Job Requirements:

Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Dietetics, or Food and Nutrition, including or supplemented by behavioral service courses required; prior related experience preferred. DESIRED: Bi-lingual in Spanish, lactation counseling experience, and previous WIC experience.
