Job Description:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Information Technology Manager, the Senior Support Technician is responsible for supporting network and I.T. operations across the 9-1-1 enterprise. This position plays a key role in monitoring and maintenance of I.T. hardware and systems, and assists in identifying, diagnosing, and finding effective solutions to problems with computer hardware and software systems. Provides basic to intermediate level helpdesk support.

Job Requirements:

Associates Degree or Certification from an accredited college or university in Information Technology. Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or three to five (3-5) years’ experience in I.T. support environment that includes hardware maintenance and repair. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job, may be substituted at the direction of the hiring authority. I.T. certifications (Microsoft, Citrix, VmWare, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
