Education Department
The Education Department provides enrolled students with structured on center support to successfully complete their High School Diploma and improve their Reading and Math skills. With high school programs, a high school equivalency program, and adult basic education literacy and numeracy classes, students have the opportunity to take their first step toward gainful employment, upward mobility, and/or higher education.

Academic Instructor - Job Description
The Academic Instructor will be responsible for providing instruction in Reading. Instructor will provide class, group and individual support and instruction in basic Reading or Math. Organization, planning, and motivation of students are key to this position as responsibilities will include: class management, grading, lessons plans, monitoring testing scores, preparing for testing, submitting documents, implementing technology and connecting education and training in activities.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and Teaching Credential
• Strong desire to effect change in youth and their academic development for their future.

Desired Qualifications
• Strong classroom management and knowledge and implementation of technology
• Experience working at a traditional, alternative or therapeutic school
• Experience teaching at risk youth
