Job Description:

Looking for enthusiastic, highly organized individual to fill a bookkeeping/admin support position, whose main responsibilities will be performing a variety of tasks including assisting in preparing financial statements, bank recs, payroll reports and maintaining the accuracy of all general ledger accounts. This position requires only a basic knowledge of accounting. The work environment is very informal. Need to be comfortable WITHOUT a lot of corporate formalities in addition to being a clear communicator.

The Bookkeeper/Admin Support will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
*Coordinating Payroll reporting
• Includes creating sales commission reports, entering employee hours and commissions
into system weekly as well as various federal and state reports
*Filing and paying sales and use taxes
*Bank reconciliations
*Maintaining the accuracy of all G/L accounts
• Includes regularly running registers and journals, making journal entries and ability to
recognize inaccuracies, investigate discrepancies and make appropriate correcting
entries when needed
*Monitor the budget
• Work with owner and various department heads in maintaining budget
*Creating various reports in Excel
• Such as margin reports, sales close ratio reports, etc
*Preparing and gathering needed information and reports for CPA

Job Requirements:

• Minimum two years experience or Associate degree in accounting or business

• Hyper-Organized – Able to handle a large variety of tasks without letting things slip through the cracks
• Comfortable with technology – Able to quickly learn new software tools
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
