Job Description:

The License-Exempt Monitor is responsible for working with License Exempt (LE) Child Care Programs for completion and monitoring of the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Health, Safety and Child Development Training requirements. Work assignments include, but are not limited to:

Onsite License-Exempt (LE) Child Care Provider Monitoring
License-Exempt Program Support - Travel within a designated Service Delivery Area (SDA) is required. (Grundy, Kankakee, Kendall and Will County)

Essential Job Functions:
Adheres to CCR&R employee policy and procedures
Attends work regularly in accordance with the agency leave policy
Meets obligations and deadlines
Observes reporting requirements and meets deadlines
Functions as a team member
Constant phone utilization to schedule visits, plan upcoming training and communicate with providers

Job Requirements:

Must be pres-screened and referred by the FCRC/Employment and Training Liaison Staff
Must have at least a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Must be able to clear a comprehensive background check including: child abuse and neglect (CANTS), Sex Offender Registry (SOR) and criminal Background via fingerprint check
Must successfully complete the required training for this position
Must have and provide proof of a valid driver's license
Must have and provide proof of current auto insurance coverage
Must have basic computer skills
Bi-lingual Preferred
